Dans le cadre de la collaboration entre la compagnie Émersiøn (dir. Léonard Matton) et l’Université Grenoble Alpes, une réflexion sur l'approche immersive — dans sa pratique et sa théorie — d’une œuvre de Shakespeare a été menée entre 2024 et 2026. La Nuit des rois, alors au programme de l’agrégation, est apparue la pièce idéale pour aborder cette recherche-création. Regroupant neuf articles, trois comptes rendus de mises en scène et deux varias, le présent volume est le fruit de ces travaux exploratoires et des analyses menées à l'aune du concept d'immersion théâtrale

As part of the collaboration between the Émersiøn company (directed by Léonard Matton) and Université Grenoble Alpes, an exploration of the immersive approach to a Shakespearean work—both in theory and practice—was undertaken between 2024 and 2026. Twelfth Night, which was then on the syllabus for the French agrégation examination, emerged as the ideal play through which to pursue this practice-based research. Bringing together nine articles, three production reviews, and two varias, this volume is the outcome of these exploratory studies and of the analyses conducted through the lens of the concept of theatrical immersion
