Gwylim Jones

Gwilym Jones is at the University of Sussex, England, and is currently writing up his D.Phil thesis, Shakespeare’s Storms. He is a member of the research team at Shakespeare’s Globe theatre, where he co-ordinated research for the 2008 production of King Lear, and where he teaches classes on cue-scripts and the history of the playhouses. As part of the Globe’s partnership with Rutgers University, he prepared material for, and taught, a module for acting students on Renaissance reading. He also writes regularly for the Globe’s publications, his most recent articles being “The Storm in Othello” and “‘A common playhouse to waft company’: Thomas Middleton's Globe”.
